Shola goala-machine

Well what a pleasant surprise the weekend brought in the form of a good match for the Tyne-Wear derby. And a good result if, like me, you’re a Newcastle fan. It’s not often we get to celebrate the passing of a match against Sunderland with 3 points well earned. But this match was the exception. We battled well, we passed the ball around, and even Shola scored 2! We did have some nervy moments towards the end of the game but the important thing is that we kept our cool, had some luck (one shot which left Given stranded came back off the bar), and got the 3 points. I’m not going to go into the love-hate relationship that there is between Newcastle and Sunderland fans, suffice to say that the bragging rights so far this season are firmly decked out in black and white!
