Shooooot!

Well yesterday saw my first team-building event in about 4 years (I’ve always been on leave when these are arranged for). An afternoon of clay pigeon (and clay rabbit) shooting. And what great fun it was… So much so that I now think the range that we were shooting on has 4 new members, being me, Dan, Stuart, and Mark (no blog yet Mark??). Much fun was had by all. I was on the winning team (with Mark and Stuart), and it has rekindled that feeling of “I must do more of that” that I’ve had every time I’ve been shooting (a few times for stag do’s more than anything). But this time I think I’ll do something about it. I’m even about to start the process of applying for a shotgun certificate to say that I can go clay shooting unsupervised. And who knows where from there? If I feel confident enough then maybe I’ll enter some competitions. But we’ll have to wait and see…. For the moment I’ll put yesterday down to beginners luck!!
