Test Drive Unlimited (TDU): Hints and tips

So with the increasing number of people who are finding me by searching for “TDU easy money” I figured it might be time to start writing about some of the hints and tips that I’ve picked up during my (currently) 1800 mile journey through TDU. It’d also be great if any of you want to add any tips by leaving comments so that this can grow into something bigger. At the moment my tips are fairly basic but I just thought I’d share what I’ve learnt about the game so far:

Me and me m8 are trying to find all the gliches and killing them (getting past them ) and we need to know (if anyone knows) how to get into the airport???
We have also found a (lost) go-kart track and ath the mment we are trying to get into it but gates all arounfd it.. is there any ueful cheats, hints and or tips for getting around these gates???
Where abouts have you found the go-kart track? I’d be interested in going to take a look myself and finding a way around the gates.
i need to know where all the hitchhiker missions are to save me driving around aimlessly. i really want that votlzwagon roadster!!

hints: if you have a little crash with other cars or trucks and police bar is shown than drive 40 kmh (25 mph) for 10 sec you will escape.to not drive long when you put target on something on the map just click x (ps2) that will automatic
translate you to place (just not to car dealer,im once drive 56 km (35 miles) to car dealer(im wanted test koniesegg ccr,mclaren f1 and mercedes slr mclaren))
I am woundering the same thing we have drovw all the way around the airports, but there is no way in. So i think you have to unlock the airporn because i see people in the airport driving around.

no u dont ave 2 unlock it. u drive in to the flower-bed at high speed u fly over.

how fast do u have to go?
to get into the airport, first you have to find the road leading to the car rental agency that you start out at.pass the rental agency and continue down the road until you reach the end. at the end there is a small concrete barrier and behind that, a flower bed. go back down the road a little bit then turn back around. gun it to a point where you are going fast, but can control it. watch for cars because they (magically) appear at the dead end. turn a few seconds before the end of the road and try your best to not hit the concrete barrier. this is easiest to do on a motorcycle. you should hit the flowerbed and fly over the fence. you are now in the airport! you can fly alongside airplane that are taking off and coming in. (take some pictures to commemorate the moment) Beware though, there is a small creek/river going through the airport. if you crash into it, it will teleport you back to the dead end road. from there youd have to repeat the process. good luck to whoever reads this!(by the looks of the dates here no one will)

If you have a car from each class you can get louds of money. but you WILL need to tune them. If you buy a mustange coupe and go to the american tuner select seleen and it will pimp you ride 4 you.
simon if you are on xbox 360 you have to get the download pack off xbox marketplace. that is the only one i know
I don’t know if i found a glitch or not but when i exited a car dealer my maserati magically transformed into a random orange supercar. the cockpit was glitched so the only way i could see out was by driving on the outside view. the car was definatley different and it was fast but didn’t turn very well. if anyone knows can you tell me?
The secret car isn’t a secret car. You can’t get it. It is only the default car that shows if you haven’t downloaded that car off the marketplace. If you have it will actually show the real car instead of the red and orange one. If you see someone driving one then just send them a message and ask what car it is and they will tell you and it won’t be a secret car.
Everyone! Do not forget that if you somehow make it into the airport or the mysterious island, you should make sure you BOOKMARK it. That way, you can gat in with no hassle, just the click of a mouse.
There is also a Stadium that you can drive around in and a boat harbor too. But don’t forget to BOOKMARK. You’re welcome.
i found 3 airports 2 of them i noe how to get into but theres one i dont noe ive gone around it looking for a jump or something but cant find any its kalaeola airport on the south west side of the map anyone noe how to get in?
hey how do i change tdu 1.66a to 1.45 a.i cant race as it doesnt start the race
for the airport glitch all you have to do is drive really fast to the end of the road and sverve left or right (rights easyer) and hit the flower bed or whith a mbk go to the go cart track and drive over the river at high speed at fly into the airport for the go cart track its pretty much the same flowerbed thing enjoy(ps the gocart track unlocks at chapion so its not all bad
I know how to get to the secret island.[fast car needed] Look on the eastern side of Oahu. There will be a misson for a hitchicker named mario. Go there and drive south for about a half mile.The moutain should be smooth so that way you can drive up it and go to the top of the hill. Drive along the edge of the cliff for a while and soon you should see a shiny eden games symbol. Drive into it at about 30 MPH and you will teleport to the island. I Hope you find it.
